P!nk keys into her grim past

POP superstar P!nk spoke from the heart when she met homeless kids in Sydney last week.
Performing her 10th show in Sydney as part of her whopping 58-date Australian tour, P!nk invited students from Surry Hills' independent high school Key College backstage. The school caters for Sydney's homeless youth.
"That was me," P!nk told The Sunday Telegraph.
"I wish I had something like that when I was a kid. I was kicked out of my house when I was 15. I was on drugs, the whole nine. I could have used a school like that."
But despite a difficult childhood and battles with drugs, the 29-year-old managed to turn her life around to become a top recording artist, selling millions of albums.
P!nk learned about Key College after reading an article in The Sunday Telegraph's Sunday magazine in May - the same issue in which she featured on the cover.
The school opened in 1996 and is the brainchild of Youth Off The Streets founder Father Chris Riley.
So moved by the story, she contacted the school and invited more than 20 of its students to her Sydney shows.
"The kids are so tough and cool and it's fun, I just hope they have a good time," she said.
"Maybe them seeing the show is a little kick in the a*** to show they can do whatever they want 'cos I was that kid."
One student, Simon, 16, was overcome with emotion when he met his idol.
He was so excited to meet her that he had to hold his hands together to stop them from shaking, explaining P!nk's music had kept him alive during serious bouts of depression.
"P!nk was pretty much my salvation when I was growing up," said Simon, who had dyed his hair pink and painted his fingernails to meet the singer.
"She gave me a way to escape all the problems that were happening around me. Her music gave me a way of building myself up. P!nk's music made me feel stronger inside," Simon said.
Meeting the students was equally as moving for P!nk.
"That's the stuff that hits you," she said. "That is where I was at. That is how I felt about Linda Perry and Janis Joplin, so here we are."

New layout again!
Funhouse tour is so beautiful that's why I thought that it would be unfair not to make a layout with pictures from it. So I've made a new layout since the tour is not finished yet. All P!nk's concert costumes are amazing and it was hard to choose something one, but I couldn't use all picturesPhotos I used in the layout weren't in the gallery before, that's why I uploaded 4 albums from 4 concerts. All photos are HQ!

It is amazing how hard it is to get the glitter off of my body after a show. Even after a shower! I find glitter in very strange places :)

P!nk about Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson was one of the best that ever did it. RIP.
Today was a sad day in music, but it was a sweet night. Sydney and I dedicated our evening to the memory and genius of Michael Jackson. And my dancers all busted out his moves when I introduced them. My guitar player did the moonwalk in cowboy boots. It was amazing.
P!nk at 200km/h

RUSSELL Ingall has met many celebrities but has never been so 'star-struck' as when he greeted rock star P!nk.
The singer and her husband, freestyle motocross champion Carey Hart, met up with the V8 Supercar driver at the Holden Performance Driving Centre at Norwell.
Ingall said he was uncharacteristically lost for words when he first laid eyes on the petite rock star.
"You actually get a bit stuck for words, a bit like a school kid," he said. "You try to be normal because you don't want to be some bumbling fan but she definitely has this aura around her.
"It was the first time I'd met her and I'm a huge fan. I have just about all her albums on my iPod."
P!nk and Hart reportedly touched down in Brisbane in a private jet early morning after her concert at the Sydney Entertainment Centre.
About 12.30pm, they arrived at the Norwell driving center, where they met Ingall and team owner Paul Morris. Dressed in a blue and white race suit, P!nk jumped into the passenger seat first, jokingly urging Ingall not to go over 35km/h as she climbed in.
Ingall said they did eight hot laps around the track, reaching speeds of about 200km/h.
"She was hanging on a bit but she loved it," he said. "It was her first experience going fast in a race car."
Hart then did a few laps with Morris before getting behind the wheel.
About 2pm, P!nk headed to the Palazzo Versace, where the couple is believed to be staying while she performs four concerts in Brisbane.
Funhouse music video caps
I've made screencaps from Funhouse music video. The quality of the video was good, but P!nk has been moving in the video so fast that it was really hard to catch a clear picture. But anyway what we got. Dimensions of caps are 1024 x 578.

Funhouse (DVD-quality) - 102 caps
